Drawing from their individual multifaceted talents, this international electro-acoustic band based in southeast Florida meld influences of pop, electroswing, classic rock, jazz, and blues with the classical music techniques of their primary careers. Composer and violinist, David Jonathan Rogers, known mononymously as Davroj, returned to the US from living in Paris after over a year of musical hiatus there. After returning to the US for the premiere of his third symphony with Lynn Philharmonia, he now presents fellow classical and electronic music artists in his band, The Colors. While some of the players will rotate with time and availability, each brings a uniquely seasoned quality to the collaboration from well-established solo and academic careers.
